The 288-fiber optical cable cross-connect cabinet (OCC) is a medium-to-large core node device in fiber access networks, specifically designed to meet the requirements of large-scale regional optical network deployment. It provides termination, splicing, storage, and patching functions for 288 fibers, enabling centralized connection, signal distribution, and flexible scheduling of trunk optical cables and distribution optical cables. As an efficient solution for metropolitan area network (MAN) partitioned coverage, large-scale campus networking, and multi-service convergence scenarios, it is compatible with single-core and ribbon optical cables, supports co-construction and sharing among multiple operators, and adapts to medium-to-large-scale fiber coverage needs ranging from enterprise-level to urban-level applications.
